RE-Elect Preston as Moreau Town Supervisor
November 3rd 2009

ABOUT PRESTON

I’m a Life-long resident of The Town of Moreau where I currently reside with my wife Mary. We have three adult children that were raised and educated in our local schools. I’m a graduate of South Glens Falls Central School, Adirondack Community College, and Siena College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

I served my country in the United States Army from 1964-1970. Upon graduation from Siena College, I worked six years in the office of Saul Silverstein Certified Public Account. In November of 1973 I completed the exam for Certified Public Accountant and received my license to practice in New York State. On October of 1976, opened my own accounting firm, now known as Jenkins, Beecher & Bethel, LLP, a CPA firm now in it’s 32nd year.

My Volunteer activities include 33 years as a member of the South Glens Falls Rotary Club serving as President, Vice-President, and Treasurer.  I served as Treasurer of the Town of Moreau Historical Society for five years, 14 years as treasurer of the Gerald B.H. Solomon Freedom Foundation, member of American Legion, member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, active in various youth programs as my children grew, and past parish council member St. Michael’s Church. My goal is to be re-elected Supervisor of Town of Moreau. I believe my two years as supervisor qualify me as the best qualified for the position of Town of Moreau Supervisor; I have worked hard every day, with integrity, honesty and trust. I believe that the citizens of Moreau deserve a Supervisor that will provide progressive government, maintain low taxes, and planned growth of both residential and commercial property in the town. At the county level I will continue to work hard to support good government.

I’m asking for your vote on November 3, 2009. Let’s keep Moving Moreau Forward!
